Martin Eisend (University of Vienna)
Professor Martin Eisend is a globally renowned marketing scholar whose groundbreaking contributions have profoundly shaped the field of advertising research. Currently serving as Professor of Marketing at the University of Vienna and Adjunct Professor at Copenhagen Business School, Professor Eisend has authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications, including more than 35 influential meta-analyses that have elevated empirical and methodological standards across the discipline. His research — focused on advertising and marketing communication — employs a rigorous quantitative approach to explore vital themes such as humor, gender roles, minority representation, and advertising effectiveness. Notably, his work in top-tier journals has offered actionable insights to both academia and industry. Recognized among the top six most productive advertising scholars globally between 2021 and 2022 and honored with over 10 best paper awards and the prestigious Meta-Analysis ICA Award, Professor Eisend exemplifies academic excellence and innovation.
