EMAC-EAA Advertising & Marketing Communication SIG
We are happy to launch a new EMAC-EAA Special Interest Group (SIG) with focus on Advertising & Marketing Communication.
The new SIG aims to bring together researchers working across all areas of advertising and marketing communications research. Our goal is to build an active platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and new ideas.
The SIG is a joint initiative of EMAC and the European Advertising Academy.
We welcome all methodological perspectives and place a strong focus on connecting academic research with industry practice. Advertising is a major part of marketing, and with today’s rapidly evolving tech landscape, the field moves quickly. The SIG helps you stay on top of new work, emerging insights, and what’s coming next.
In addition to dedicated sessions at the EMAC Annual Conference, the SIG will host a bimonthly online research seminars starting in spring 2026. These sessions will feature ongoing projects and perspectives from both researchers and practitioners.
