8th ICORIA Doctoral Colloquium

The aim of the ICORIA Doctoral Colloquium is to provide PhD students with professional skills needed for their academic career. The colloquium gives PhD students the opportunity to learn from the insights and experiences of senior scholars in their field of study. Furthermore, it is a great opportunity to meet peers from different countries in order to build an international network that will be valuable throughout their academic career.
In 2022, the colloquium will focus on insider tips and career advice, research ethics and presentation skills. All participants at the colloquium will also be invited to chair sessions in the main conference.
Date
The 8th Doctoral Colloquium will be held on June 23rd at the Prague University of Economics and Business (Czech Republic). The sessions will start around noon and conclude with the ICORIA welcome reception in the evening.
Participants
The colloquium is open to PhD students participating in ICORIA 2022 on June 23-25. To participate in the ICORIA 2022 Doctoral Colloquium, please send a one page application letter in which you describe your dissertation project and briefly motivate why the doctoral colloquium would be important for you in developing your research career. The number of participants is limited and the selection will be based on research interests and motivations.

Please send your application by e-mail to: Liselot.Hudders@Ugent.be and Dieneke.Vandesompel@Ugent.be no later than May 17, 2022. Applicants will be notified about acceptance no later than May 20, 2022.
