Bordeaux, France hosts EAA’s 19th annual conference
Considering the pandemic situation in Europe, the EAA board together with the conference organizer have decided that ICORIA 2021 will move to an online format. We are very sad that we cannot meet in Bordeaux this year, but we believe that this is the safest option for all of us. Moving to an online conference allows us to extend the submission deadline to April 22, 2021.
The conference topic “Authenticity, Narratives and History” is a reflection about Bordeaux as a city, but also about what a brand is able to convey and what consumers are expecting. Research around these key words is still ongoing, and there is still lots to investigate.
The conference will be synchronous and the time is CET (Central European Time). If you are a presenter from a different time zone, we will try to accommodate this by offering presentation slots that fit that time zone. If the presenters agree, we can record a session and make the video available to the conference attendees.
The ICORIA will start on June 24, 2021 with the 7th doctoral colloquium and a welcome reception. On June 25 and June 26, 2021, the conference will host the presentation of around 150 papers on various topics related to advertising and communication.
A general version of the ICORIA 2021-programme can be downloaded now (CET time, the conference is synchronous).
The detailed programme is available here:
Please prepare up to 15 minute presentations to be presented via MS Teams, followed by Q&A from the audience. The organizers are looking for solutions for presenters from other time zones and (with approval form presenters) will record the sessions to make them available to conference attendees.
Decisions on paper submissions were sent out on May 22, 2021.
Please register for the ICORIA 2021 here.
The deadline for the early bird conference registration has been extended to June 13, 2021.
To participate in ICORIA 2021 Doctoral Colloquium please send a one-page application describing your dissertation project and briefly explaining why the doctoral colloquium would be important for you in to develop your research career. Continue...
