The 14th International Conference on Research in Advertising 2015 will be held in London, UK, one of the most exciting cities in the world. The conference will take place on the campus of the Birkbeck, University of London. A gala dinner is scheduled on Friday, as well as a sight-seeing tour of London on Saturday. If you plan to visit the conference but have not yet registered, we would like to inform you that the early-bird rates will be available up to and including May 20, 2015. From May 21, the prices will increase by £60, so book now to get the best rates.

Our revised EAA constitution

Approval of our new EAA constitution revised by our Executive Board is one of the agendas at the General Assembly in London.

Why have we revised our EAA constitution?
Since the EAA was founded in 2005, our statues have never been deposited in a public registry office. This year, the EAA Board has decided to convert our organization into a legal entity, since it will provide the EAA with more formal and legal backup for the administrative decisions and financial procedures.

The new constitution is based on the current statutes and adapted to the legal requirements, in this case, of the Dutch law. The new constitution will not change the current EAA practices. The only difference is that the formal rules as stated in the current statutes will obtain a legal foundation. The EAA board advises and hopes that the members approve the new constitution at the General Assembly in London.

The revised constitution can be found on the membership pages of the EAA website. EAA members can access the members only section after registering their own user name and password at the website. Please carefully read and send us any questions you may have.
